Hydrogen Car Concept by Mercedes Benz

Frankfurt Motor Show provides the platform for largest manufacturers of car brands such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen and others, so they can demonstrate their plans for the future in terms of design and technology. This is an ideal platform for Mercedes Benz, to begin advertising of its new hydrogen car concept, called F125 S-class, which should come out in 2025. Mercedes Benz argues that the F125 will run on hydrogen with  an  engine that will produce 231hp  and he would need only about 4 seconds to accelerate to 62 miles / hour (100 km / h), and its maximum speed will make 137 miles / hour (220 km / h). The car was designed to consume only 0.79 kilograms of hydrogen per 100 km. Concept is equipped with a 470-liter trunk.

The fuel tank is made of carbon fiber and has a capacity for 7.5 kg of hydrogen, which is enough to drive a range of 1,000 km. Fuel economy is about estimated at 170 km per 1 gallon (3.78 liters). It also gets some energy from on-board lithium-ion battery 10 kW, which will allow him to travel about 31 miles further. The main and most important element in driving a car will be gestures.
