We are inviting here the lovers of Samsung Galaxy to enjoy some features about this popular Smartphone which will hold your interests. The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are all about refinement. Design, display, photography, and performance were all strong areas for the Galaxy S8 line, and the S9 does all of them better. While both smartphones aren’t too different from its previous models, but there are a few distinguished new features, that is worth knowing.
So the features are as follows:
- Bixby Vision makeup filter
Samsung Galaxy S9 has an opportunity to try on make up, you do not have to go to a Beauty Salon to make a good look during taking photos, just use Bixby Vision makeup filter and the result will be perfect. While using the camera in Bixby, the makeup filter’s result will be the same as Snapchat filter. There is also an option to choose photos from your galleries, and also it has the opportunity to add extra details such as eyeshadow, lipstick, eyebrows and so on.
- Create my Emoji
AR Emoji catches your facial movements and reflects them through animated characters such as a bunny or a cat. Samsung has also corporate with Disney to involve AR Emojis of standard Characters such as Mickey Mouse. But with the Create My Emoji feature, you’re able to create AR Emojis of yourself. When you snap your selfie, you receive your avatar and then you can edit your skin ton, outfit, hairstyle, and your hair color. As soon as you finish perfecting your AR Emoji, you can then add it as a sticker pack to your gallery and share it to any app wherever you want. In such way you can send your friends animated GIFs through text messages and show your emotions in your way.
- Super Slow Motion
Super Slow Motion allows you to do slow down your video footage. It is about 32 times slower, to be exact. There are two ways to apply the effect: manual and auto. Through the first one you can control when the slow motion goes into effect whereas the second one predicts the part of the video you will most likely want to slow down.
- Live Focus Camera Mode
While it’s not a new feature for Samsung, this is the first time Live Focus is included on a Galaxy S series. But you will only find it on the Galaxy S9 Plus because it has the double camera setup.
Originally it is featured on the Note 8. While the feature is similar to the iPhone 7 Plus’ Portrait Mode, Live Focus allows you to know how much blur you want in your shot before and after you take the photo.
- Placement of the Fingerprint Sensor
While the Galaxy S9 are looking almost similar to its previous models, there is one comfortable design change: the placement of the fingerprint sensor. On the Galaxy S8, the sensor sat to the right of the camera lens which was uncomfortable and caused users to place their fingers on the lens. It is great to see this year’s model has the fingerprint sensor directly underneath the camera, while the flash takes its place on the right instead. Even the Galaxy S9 has this system although it has the dual camera.
