Machinist Bob Schneeveis made the Solar Electric Robot Chariot. The original robot replaces a driver or a horse in a chariot. The invention has been presented at Maker Faire Bay Area 2011. Through the use of solar energy, the robot can move in two front legs, in which are mounted rollers with two large wheels, which keep moving chariot. Solar energy is the main source of energy for the robot. Solar batteries are mounted to the roof of the rickshaw. Autonomous movement made possible by the cameras, which provide a safe and ecologically clean ride on the city. For more information watch video below.
