Electrically Assisted Bicycle

Recently Yamaha has unveiled their new electrically-assisted bicycle. This bicycle is specifically targeted for women.The bicycle is called the Vienta. The bike makes use of LED lights and has a comfortable riding posture and uses an electric motor assist to help when pedaling the bike gets tedious. The bike also sports a small LCD screen that throws up information like the speed, calories burned and the like. Vienta is powered by a 6Ah lithium ion battery that Yamaha is claiming will take 3 hours to get it up to full charge.The new electrically-assisted bicycle measures 1,760 × 595mm and weighs just 21kgs, and sports 26 tires. The bike will go on sale from the 15th of September, 2011.
