The company Royole is ahead of Samsung with its new foldable smartphone that is called FlexPai. The 7.8-inch hybrid device can fold 180 degrees and can be used either folded or unfolded, giving it the portability of a smartphone plus the screen size of a high-definition tablet.
This is one of the fantastic Hi-tech news currently. FlexPai is the world’s first commercial foldable smartphone with flexible display, a combination of mobile phone and tablet that was officially launched on Oct. 31, 2018 in Beijing. Disrupting traditional concept of a smartphone.
At an event in San Francisco, Royole brought out a working version of the FlexPai that was possible to get to hold, and see how the folding feature works. Bu sure, this is the first smartphone with its unique foldable feature around the world.
“FlexPai’s screen is virtually unbreakable and extremely durable passing tests where the screen has been bent over 200,000 times. Its screen provides fantastic color range, high contrast, wide angle, and high-resolution for outstanding picture quality”, states www.royole.com.
What about its Camera?
Foldable smartphone includes two quality cameras that make taking photos or videos more convenient than ever. Its flexible display can capture objects at unique angles, and when folded either side has a camera ready to point and shoot.
[In Dual View Camera Mode, the object of your photo is visible from each screen when folded. Whether it’s a selfie, portrait or candid photo, you or your subject can use FlexPai’s screens to make sure the pose is perfect before the image is snapped. Eliminate multiple shots by getting it right the first time].
You can purchase the smartphone in China with a base model price of $1,300. You can also pay that amount of money in USD for a developer version if you live in North America. That gets you 128GB of storage, but you should double it for an additional $150 and add an additional 2GB of RAM for a total of 8GB.
