Intel Revolution

The world’s largest chip maker Intel Corporation announced about starting using of transistors with 3-D structure for the release of processors the first 50 years of mass production of advanced chips. 3-D transistors are used to produce processors under code-named Ivy Bridge. The transition to the new structure is a revolutionary event because until now in the mainstream electronics used exclusively planar structures. Transistors Intel 3-D Tri-Gate allow you to create a processor operating at lower voltages and with greater energy efficiency and speed than existing chips. The new transistor get a 37 percent performance boost while using 50 percent less power. So Intel can continue shrinking the size of transistors while making them more better.
