India successfully launched Chandrayaan-2 orbiter mission and lunar surface spacecraft on Monday.
Specialists of company PAL Robotics (Spain) have developed a new model of the robot, named Reem, who is able to help people during conventions and exhibitions, as well as in airports, shopping malls and even hospitals. Reem is able to understand more than 30 different languages, answer visitors’ questions, to know the routes, to remember previously set questions by individual person and clarify answers to them, and move up to 30 kg of weight. Robot’s height is 1.66 meter, it has an anthropomorphic form, moves through the platform on wheels, from behind it has a special tray for the cargo. For perception of the information robot equipped with sensors, microphones and video cameras, providing him a stereo vision.
