Japanese researchers have created a humanoid robot which sending information about the surrounding environment to avatar operator. TELESAR V Avatar can perform various movements, send vision hearing and sense of touch information to operator through a series of sensors and 3D-display, which puts the operator in mind.TELESAR V is also equipped with a system that can capture and transmit to the force vectors and temperature information, the operator can feel the temperature and the shape of the object. The system is so accurate that it can even detect uneven surfaces, up to the part of LEGO.
