The World Lightest Cell Phone

Willcom, the Japanese mobile carrier announced a ten-key cell phone. This is the world’s lightest cellphone which called the WX03A. The device is super tiny at W32 × H70 × D10.5 mm, which is only slightly bigger than a mini packet of Orbit chewing gum. WX03A weighs in just 33g. In a small miracle of technology is integrated battery by which it can operate up to 300 hours of standby time. Also the phone has infrared and micro USB-port and an output for a wired headset. But in order to achieve small size, the inventors had to throw the camera, memory card slot and Bluetooth. Connection with the main phone will go through an infrared signal. The small minus of the phone is a very small keyboard.

Novelty will be in sale on December in Japan . Also have to say that Willcom WX03A broke the previous record of the Palm Pixi which weighs 100g and is also sleek at 55x 111 x10.85mm.
