3 Space Station Crewmembers Came Back to Earth

The Soyuz MS-02 spacecraft parachutes down to Earth on April 10, 2017 with 3 members of Expedition 50 on beard. On Tuesday February 27, 3 Expedition 54 crewmembers came back from the International Space Station in the Soyuz MS-06 spacecraft. They came back to Earth yesterday after spending 168 days abroad the International Space Station(ISS). NASA astronauts Joe Acaba and Mark Vande Hei and Russian cosmonaut departed the ISS at 6:00. Acaba is the first astronaut of Puerto Rican heritage and a former schoolteacher. He cooperated with another educator astronaut, Ricky Arnold, who is launching in three weeks, to perform the science lessons prepared by Christa McAuliffe 32 years ago. She died in the shuttle Challenger launch disaster. As is customary, NASA are going to plan toward hustle Acaba and Vande Hei back to Houston, with Misurkin heading to cosmonaut headquarters at Star City, Russia. Both NASA astronauts were active on Twitter while aboard the ISS, while Misurkin avoided the micro-blogging platform. “The future of our home is in all of our hands. May we all care for Earth and practice good stewardship” wrote Acaba. Both NASA men will board a plane from Kazakhstan to Houston to continue post-mission testing while Misurkin is bound for Star City, just outside Moscow. During the time aboard International Space Station, the trio realized dozens of experiments. They measured the performance of fiber optic technology in microgravity, tested a novel nano-channel drug delivery implant on mice models and tracked the amount of solar energy entering the Earth’s atmosphere.
