The opening was done by the astronomers from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center of Astrophysics by led of astronomer Rayan Foley. Earlier this type was unknown. The supernova received Iax designation. More recently, scientists announced the discovery of new planets near the triple star HD 132 563.The main star, HD 132563A, is binary. The study conducted by a team of scientists led by Silvano Desidera of the Astronomical Observatory of Padua, Italy. The new planet moves on the orbit of the second star in the system HD 132563B. As in the binary component of the main star, the new planet was detected by spectral analysis.
American amateur astronomer Howard Eskildsen made an unusual photo, luminous “bridge” on the Sun through one of sunspots, whose nature is not fully clear to astronomers. Approximate length of luminous “bridge” is 20 000 kilometers. Sunspots are dark and cold (relatively) areas of the Sun, that appear in places of output of magnetic fields, impede exchange of plasma between internal and external layers of the star.
