Acer Annonced World Thinnest Ultrabook

At CES 2012 Acer announced the new Aspire S5 Ultrabook, which is what they deem to be thinnest Ultrabook in the world, it’s only 15mm at its thickest point. It’s a black, magnesium-alloy and brushed-metal 13.3-inch laptop, weighing 1.35kg (2.97 pounds) and featuring Acer’s Instant On technology that brings the computer back from sleep in 1.5 seconds.

Fujitsu Waterproof Phone

Fujitsu announced the Japan availability of its new ARROWS ES IS12F smartphone, manufactured by Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications. The new smartphone will be available in a steady roll out starting January 7, 2012 from KDDI Corporation and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company.

One Laptop Per Child XO 3.0 Tablet at CES 2012

OLPC has announced that the XO tablet will be shown off at CES next week and will go into production after it is unveiled.The tablet will feature Marvell’s Armada PXA618 SOC, 512MB of RAM, an 8″ PixelQi 1024 x 768 display (LCD option also available) and will run on Android or OLPC’s own Sugar operating system (a customized version of Linux).
