Samsung, develops the smartphone with the large 6,3-inch screen, which differs from the seven-inch tablet computers only by the sizes. The new device will receive the name Samsung Galaxy Mega. The smartphone will have average technical characteristics — a dual-core processor of Exynos, the 8-megapixel main and 2-megapixel frontal camera. Samsung Galaxy smartphone will be on sale on the average a price segment. The screen will be 6,3 inch, with the resolution of 960 on 540 points. Exynos processor frequency will make 1,4 GHz. Also, the smartphone will have the following features: Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n, A-GPS and accumulator with a capacity of 3200 mAh.

Samsung has announced a new 5-inch smartphone called the Galaxy Grand. The South Korean company announced the Galaxy Grand early Tuesday morning. The phone is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the company’s 5.5-inch-screen phone that is available from most U.S. carriers for $300 on a new contract. Samsung declined to say how the device would be priced, but mid-range smartphones typically sell for about $100 to $150 with a contract. Middle-of-the-road Android handset featuring a 5-inch WVGA display with 800-by-480-pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Samsung GALAXY Grand runs Android 4.1.2. Samsung Galaxy Grand will be available in two versions, including a dual-SIM version that will allow users to operate two phone numbers at once, as well as make and receive calls from each specific number. The handset will also include several Samsung-specific features, like Direct Call, which enables users to dial a number by raising the handset up to their ear, and Popup Video, which allows users to watch a video in a pop-up window despite the task on hand.

Apple has won an EU-wide preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet. A similar ban on another device, Samsung tablet Galaxy Tab 10.1 – was introduced in August 2011. First, the ban throughout the EU to function, and then was limited to Germany. In 2011, Samsung was able to circumvent the ban by releasing an updated version of the device. It is called the Galaxy Tab 10.1N. Apple tried to find a violation in this unit, but the court disagreed with the company. The subject of disagreement between Samsung and Apple is the shape of devices. Tim Cook’s Company says that the South Korean manufacturer borrows her decorating decisions and apply them in their products.
